Combatting anti-EU discourses and misinformation in

 NORTH MACEDONIA AND SERBIA

About.png

About

Given the complexity of today’s misinformation, which cannot be solved by fact-checking alone in a “post-truth” context, we aim to analyze how discourse is constructed and how a new discursive hegemony is emerging—one that produces anti-European effects without openly declaring anti-Europeanism, while leaving space for competing influences such as Russia, China, and narratives like the Open Balkans as an alleged alternative to EU accession.
